FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UIC

“249 children have been impregnanted fram rape between January 2020 and March 2021. This represents only 8% of the 3,625 children who were sexually abused during this period. In addition to the pandemic of COVID-19, the Government of Jamaica has thrown us further into a pandmic of pedophilia. It is time that Prime Minister Andrew Holness meets with the UIC leadership to accelerate the UIC pandemic plan for Jamaica. ”

Joseph L. Patterson

UIC President

FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UIC

“The Prime Minister, Andrew Holness initially made the right decision when he closed our borders, but the wrong decision in blocking citizens from entering. Allowing tourists to enter Jamaica, spreading this virus then blaming it on the citizens of Jamaica is irresponsibe. It's time to do what's right. Close our borders to Non-Jamaicans and Non Permanent Residents. ”

Devon A. Thompson

UIC Middlesex Vice President

FROM THE EXPERTS

“Governments seem to be acting in lockstep. It's time for the Government to look at the science and listen to the scientist and consult with all the experts who have an understanding of this disease. Listen to those who have information to offer and rethink these polices, because they will not have the intended effects, they can only have negative consequences on society and will further divide society.”
