YOU CAN BE A HERO TOO
On September 22nd we attempted to peacefully walk to Gordon House to reclaim our rights and freedom, but I and a few others were assaulted, arrested, and charged instead.
On October 7th we appeared in court and made it clear that the Government violated our rights and freedom as articulated in the Constitution of Jamaica. On October 13th at 10 am, we will again appear in the Mandeville courthouse to press home this same message until the Constitutional Court reaches a positive verdict.
Let us use today as another pivotal moment to secure our freedom 8 days before we celebrate our National Heroes who fought, bled and died for our freedom. Even as you are contemplating this message, the Government and certain elites or SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (about 5% of the population) are sending veiled threats signalling their intention to take away the freedom of 85% of the population who do not support forced medication.
Apparently, the wishes of 85% are not considered a majority decision. It is very clear now that these special groups do not truly have the interest of the 85% at heart and merely see us as a threat to their health and safety.
We understand and want to ensure their safety too. We want everyone to be happy, safe and comfortable to enjoy a life of freedom in their own country. We are therefore proposing that every large and small business, hotel, organization and financial institution declare their position by Friday, October 15. Tell us if you will take the position of MEDICAL APARTHEID or if ALL ARE WELCOME to do business with you.
We are calling this the ALL ARE WELCOME campaign and all you have to do to participate is to place the attached sign (or similar) at the entrance of your business establishment to say ALL ARE WELCOME here. This will help the 85% to know where they should spend their hard-earned money. Please tell us on social media, tv and radio if ALL ARE WELCOME!
It is very important that the 85% who love LIBERTY know where to take their business and where to keep their savings and investments. We will not do business where we are not welcomed, so choose wisely by October 15th so that we can spend and put our money where MEDICAL APARTHEID is not being practiced. We call upon all Jamaicans in the diaspora to watch keenly and to be guided accordingly.
Thankfully, online platforms make it easy to redirect your funds with just the click of a button. I encourage all graphic designers and groups to come up with beautiful designs for this ALL ARE WELCOME campaign that can be shared for public use island-wide. We want everyone to be happy. Those experiencing the discomfort of mixing can now comfortably occupy space with businesses practicing Medical Apartheid and the rest of us 85% can do business where ALL ARE WELCOME.
We look forward to a productive and empowered week for all Jamaicans as they exercise their FREEDOM OF CHOICE by doing business with banks, hotels, restaurants, hardware stores, retailers and wholesalers who welcome them. Many of you call me a hero for standing up for you and being arrested for it, but now we can all be Heroes this National Heroes Day Oct 18 by choosing to do business where ALL ARE WELCOME and showing whether or not we support the MEDICAL APARTHEID being pushed by the Government and some businesses.
Yours in Service,
Joseph L. Patterson,
